April 5, 2009 Orlando, Florida April 5, 2009 Detectives on Saturday investigated the drowning death of a year-old girl in Buenaventura Lakes. Deputies arrived at the home on Blackwater Court about 11a.m. The child's mother told investigators she left the girl alone briefly and when she returned the child was in the pool, sheriff's spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain said. The girl was pronounced dead at Florida Hospital Kissimmee a short time later. It was the second time in two days a child drowned at home. Thursday, 2-year-old Amaan Abdul Hussein died at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children after being found in his family's pool. HELEN ECKINGER
