Priest Accused of Not Following Standard Water Safety Practices After Baby Drowns During Babtism in Moldoavan

Moldova - A six-week old baby drowned after being submerged three times by a priest in Moldova during babtism. The infant was moving afterwards but later started bleeding from his nose and mouth and died. The baby's godmother reported the baby was crying as he was submerged. The baby's father Dumitru Gaidau reported that doctor's confirmed his son drowned. July 30, 2010
