Phoenix, Arizona baby boy drowns when left unattended in the Tub while mom checks email

Phoenix, Arizona - A baby boy was left alone to play in the tub with the drain open and the water running when the drain plug secured, the tub filled with water and the baby drowned. The mother left the baby for about five minutes and when she discovered the baby without a pulse and not breathing she rushed the baby outside where someone performed CPR until rescue workers arrived. The baby was transported from his home at 7th Street and Greenway Parkway in Phoenix to Phoenix Children's Hospital where he later died. May 8, 2010
