Hamilton, Ohio 13-month-old boy, Aidan Truett dies after swallowing watch battery

Hamilton, Ohio - A 13-month old swallowed a battery commonly called a button battery used in watches, DVD remotes and musical greeting cards. The battery caused bleeding which led to his death. It's a combination of the acid and the current passing through the tissue that causes the fatal damage. January 13, 2009.
