Apple Valley, California boy, Omar Martinez,  3, killed by family pitt bull

Apple Valley, California - Three year old Omar Marinez, was attacked by the family pitt bull when his father briefly left him outside alone with the dog to retrieve a toy for his son in the home on Goshute Avenue.  After the father frantically called 911, the paramedics could not get near the boy because the dog was so aggressive. A deputy shot and killed the pitt bull dog. January 11, 2010
